The importance of teachers

Teachers, or Gurus, play the most important role in a student’s life. It is a teacher who is mainly responsible for the mental growth and education of a children. Their role in society is very significant and valuable; they educate the youth of society, who in turn become the leaders of the next generation of people. Teachers are the ones who teach children and impart knowledge upon them during the most impressionable years of a child’s life.

The importance of teachers is a topic that can never be underestimated. For the formative years of children’s development, it is they who play an extraordinary part in their lives. Molding their students into responsible citizens of the country, they provide them with quality education to lead them to a brighter future. Teachers engage with students in an interesting, yet informative manner, so that students develop a thirst for learning and acquire knowledge through hard work and commitment. Passion, motivation, and effectiveness are the three qualities that a teacher who provides quality education has. Such quality teachers make the real difference – not only by helping students achieve excellent results in academics but also be successful in their lives. The corporate world might not understand the fact that teachers are very busy people. This fact is proven by the statement that they do not accept failure. They try every angle to make strategies for full understanding and learning of their students. They care about whom they are teaching and love everyone, especially the ones that are hard to love. Creativity is at its peak when a good quality teacher is teaching something new in the class. At any time and at any place, they can help anyone learn anything in a million different ways, without the help of books or an object. Important lessons can be taught any place outside the classroom too – the hallway, the canteen, the playground, and even the basketball court! It is not necessary that a teacher is associated with teaching something from a book. A person who teaches a sport or teaches how to swim is a teacher too. No one teaches to be praised, one teaches to make a difference in the society.

At all kinds of critical stages, teachers are busy in shaping the minds and futures of their students. In combination, it is actually an army of teachers who ultimately shape how an individual understands the world and recognizes his or her place in it. If you know how to read and write, it is all because of every teacher you came across in your life. If you can play an instrument or have a talent, you should thank your teacher. There is nothing more important than an army of teachers who are charged with building great minds and amazing thinkers!
